Partners in business, love and adventure. Co-founder’s of Sticks and Stones and Grows On Trees!
Life is a journey and it became a magical adventure when these two joined forces! Both incredibly talented in their own artistic ventures they decided to to start combining skills and teaching each other. Sticks and Stones was birthed from a deep love of the natural world and a desire to share their unique style of visual forest art. Grows On Trees took shape as Choops shared his musical mastery and Penny took to it like a a duck to water. Surrounded by a warm beautiful community these two power houses are fuelled by a natural curiosity and genuine love for all beings!
Penny Reed
Penny is called and guided by Spirit to create. She is a multi-medium artist who weaves the healing powers and beauty of plants and crystals into sacred art. She also loves to forage and harvest plants and conjure a variety of herbal remedies. Penny is a trained horticulturalist, kundalini yoga instructor, sound healer and social service worker. When she's not in the art studio, kitchen or garden Penny enjoys taking long walks in the woods, learning ancient Celtic ways and making music with her partner.
Choops McWilliam
Choops is a natural born creator. His first love was the guitar, he started playing at the age of 15 and hasn’t looked back! Choops has played in a variety of different bands and is best known for his powerful acoustic tribal folk sound. In his twenties Choops discovered his second love - crystals and soon became an expert, offering workshops on crystal healing and gridding. He too studied Horticulture and spent many years working with nurseries and landscape companies. He has also studied shamanism and has a beautiful relationship with the natural world. When not in the art studio Choops can be found making music just about anywhere or in the forest looking for sticks!
